About this site

This is an independent website that seeks to clarify the concepts of change management in projects, and explain the meaning of the special terms used - and how these are sometimes mixed up.

It also seeks to help projects to find the expertise they need.

It is managed by John Thropp, a change and interface manager currently working in Norway.
John has been a speaker on interface management and other project management processes at conferences across Europe including Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Lisbon recent years. He is active in the Interface Management group on LinkedIn.

Aims of ProjectChangeManagement.Org

Provide basic information on the concepts and purpose of change management in projects

Define the main terms and expressions - and how they are mixed up - so that confusion can be minimised

Help people new to managing change by answering questions and raising new questions

Match consultants - either long-term or short-term - to owner/operators or contractors that need access to experience and expertise. However - this site is non-commercial and does not offer consultancy services

Give experienced experts in the field an opportunity to exchange ideas with others

Publish a series of discussion or blog articles on the subject of change management
